Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Location: 355 Campus Dr, Aurora, Ohio, USA. Onsite, 2nd shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Process mesh fabric into semi-finished and finished products using slitting, cutting, stapling, molding, and assembly techniques.
• Scan work orders and interpret product specifications, quantities, configurations, and raw material requirements.
• Load raw material rolls, configure blades, operate slitter/rewinder equipment, and cut material to specified lengths.
• Set up and operate klicker/guillotine cutters and mold press equipment; pack, label, seal, and palletize finished products.
• Perform rolling, folding, component application, stapling, trimming, and modifications using industrial tools and equipment.
• Record material usage, production quantities, rejected material, and job completion using barcode scanners.

Requirements

• One year of manufacturing or machine operation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
• Ability to read and apply basic drawings, perform basic mathematical calculations, and complete measurements and material calculations.
• Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and devices, including hand-operated and power tools; precision and manual dexterity are required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification and use basic computer applications, including systems for recording labor hours and accessing employee services.
• Effective English communication by telephone, in person, and in writing is required.
• Ability to work outside the standard schedule when necessary and lift up to 40 pounds frequently, with occasional team lifting of materials up to 100 pounds.
