Lead, Assembly

Location: Riverside, California, USA; onsite floor-based role

Starting pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.

What you will do

• Provide daily work direction, prioritize workloads, and support the department or shift when supervision is absent.
• Motivate team members to meet deadlines and productivity goals while fostering teamwork.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts and troubleshoot bottlenecks, process failures, incomplete procedures, and training deficiencies.
• Use data-driven problem solving and root cause analysis to address customer service and quality issues.
• Monitor safety, quality, engagement, delivery, and cost metrics and collaborate on improvements.
• Train associates, participate in daily start-of-shift meetings, and support security and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a distribution center environment; hirify.global experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience leading teams.
• A two-year degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
• Ability to problem-solve, make decisions under pressure, organize work, and use sound judgment.
• Ability to acquire a forklift license and remain flexible with scheduling, overtime, and absentee coverage.
• Regular onsite work is required, including spending approximately 90% of the time on the floor and lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally.
