Manufacturing Planner, Avionics Manufacturing (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, resource plans, and capacity analyses for avionics manufacturing.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and components.
• Monitor inventory across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods while minimizing excess inventory.
• Track production progress, identify bottlenecks and schedule deviations, and take corrective action to maintain on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance to ensure manufacturing meets specifications and aerospace standards.
• Identify process improvements, reduce lead times, and align manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and logistics teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or operations management.
• Working knowledge of database query and visualization tools such as SQL and Tableau.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning and manufacturing execution systems.
• Understanding of quality management in aerospace manufacturing and strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. person under applicable export-control rules or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing; qualifying statuses include U.S. citizenship, U.S. national status, lawful permanent residence, or granted asylee/refugee status.
