What you will do
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in physiology, biomedical science, and the Medical programme.
- Develop and lead an independent, high-impact research programme complementing departmental strengths.
- Secure competitive research funding and drive high-impact research initiatives.
- Supervise postgraduate research students and mentor future biomedical leaders.
- Build interdisciplinary networks and collaborate with clinical, industry, community, and health stakeholders.
- Contribute to research translation, commercialisation, industry engagement, or clinical collaboration.
Requirements
- PhD in physiology or a closely related biomedical discipline.
- Established or emerging research track record in physiology, biomedical science, neuroscience, or a related field.
- Evidence of research outputs appropriate to career stage and potential to sustain an independent research programme.
- Ability to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- Experience supervising or mentoring postgraduate research students.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, collaboration, and interdisciplinary research skills.
