Instructional Designer (Aerospace Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led, eLearning, blended learning, and on-the-job training programs.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, safety, HR, and other subject matter experts to identify needs and create learning solutions.
• Develop competency-based learning paths, qualifications, assessments, certification programs, onboarding, and new-hire training.
• Create presentations, job aids, process-based training, videos, knowledge checks, and interactive learning content.
• Build and maintain training content in the 360Learning learning management system and analyze learner progress and performance data.
• Keep training aligned with engineering changes, manufacturing processes, company procedures, AS9100, OSHA, export compliance, and cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning, Human Performance, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience designing and developing instructor-led and/or eLearning training programs.
• Experience with learning needs analysis, measurable learning objectives, adult learning principles, and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE or SAM.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into engaging, learner-focused experiences.
• Access to export-controlled information may require U.S. Government security clearance, government authorization, citizenship, or other eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with 360Learning, Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, or similar authoring tools.
• Experience developing training in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or another technical environment.
• Knowledge of competency-based training, qualification management, technical documentation, AS9100, OSHA, ISO, or regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with multimedia tools for video editing and graphic design.
