Project Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Voorheesville, United States

Salary: $98,500–$113,000 annually, plus an annual bonus starting at 5%.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary quality representative and liaison for customer projects.
• Manage customer quality communication, reporting, audits, inspections, and contractual quality requirements.
• Monitor project quality performance, track key metrics, and resolve quality issues and nonconformances.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer expectations.
• Review customer specifications, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Maintain project quality documentation and support continuous improvement in product quality, defect reduction, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, or project quality.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, documentation, reporting, and inspection processes.
• Experience interpreting customer specifications, quality requirements, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, project management, organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; ability to travel up to 15%.
