Project Engineer (Project Management)

Location: Onsite in Beloit, Wisconsin; conditions list Plainfield, Illinois.

Salary: $112,000–$140,800 annually

What you will do

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction deliverables across all project phases.
• Develop and coordinate project plans, contracts, schedules, activities, and milestones.
• Support project reporting, client interactions, construction progress, and project start-up activities.
• Monitor budget and schedule performance, investigate technical queries, and coordinate with Project Controls and technical services.
• Provide technical and quality support to Construction Supervisors, field crews, supply chain, subcontractors, and other project personnel.
• Verify installation against current specifications and drawings while maintaining operational, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years since the first degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in Project Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Controls.
• Professional technical degree required, such as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• At least 2 years of engineering experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, solve complex problems, influence stakeholders, and build credibility with senior management.
• Ability to work onsite in the specified US locations.
