Annual base salary: $96,000–$132,000

What you will do
- Serve as the technical quality lead for active high-volume consumer technology production lines.
- Analyze yield data, Pareto trends, and Cpk metrics to reduce process variation.
- Lead cross-functional 8D root-cause investigations and implement data-driven CAPA for mechanical, metallurgical, and cosmetic defects.
- Own PFMEAs, Quality Control Plans, and SPC monitoring for Critical-To-Quality features.
- Partner with customer quality teams on technical inquiries, First Article approvals, line qualification audits, and engineering change orders.
- Evaluate raw material quality and lead daily quality standups with manufacturing and production teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive Quality Engineering experience in consumer technology, high-volume hardware manufacturing, or precision metal component production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent hands-on experience is considered.
- Strong command of 8D, SPC, Cpk analysis, GD&T, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA/Gauge R&R, and AQL sampling.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, engineering change management, and high-rate mass-production ramp environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with Tier-1 consumer electronics OEM quality standards.
- Experience with metal additive manufacturing, including LPBF, or precision post-processing and machining.
- ASQ CQE or CRE certification, or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
