Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer (f/m/d)

Location: Remote within Germany

What you will do

• Configure and manage switches, firmware upgrades, IPsec tunnels, and OpenVPN tunnels.
• Maintain Wi-Fi infrastructure across multiple company sites.
• Monitor and coordinate the Equinix colocation environment and communicate with the provider.
• Maintain DNS zones and own network design and architecture.
• Handle VPN helpdesk requests and support network troubleshooting across teams.
• Plan and implement routing between Azure and the DDU data center while coordinating with the ITA team.

Requirements

• Several years of experience configuring and managing network infrastructure, including switches, routing, and firewalling.
• Strong practical experience with IPsec and OpenVPN tunnels.
• Experience with DNS management and Wi-Fi operations in multi-site environments.
• Experience with colocation operations, such as Equinix or a comparable provider.
• Independent, structured working style and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• German language skills at least at B2 level.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, VPN Gateway, and routing.
• General Azure cloud experience with IaaS, VMs, storage, and subscriptions.
