Principal Business Process Consultant (ServiceNow)

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year, plus incentive compensation

What you will do

• Lead executive interviews, discovery sessions, maturity assessments, and design workshops for ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management transformations.
• Design portfolio operating models covering demand intake, prioritization, funding, governance, delivery oversight, resource management, and benefits realization.
• Define functional solution architecture, requirements, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, reporting, dashboards, and performance measures.
• Provide functional leadership across discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, adoption, optimization, and value realization.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, integration and data specialists, UX practitioners, testing teams, change leaders, and client stakeholders.
• Mentor consultants, contribute reusable delivery assets and thought leadership, and support proposals, demonstrations, estimates, and strategic pursuits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, including significant functional leadership on SPM implementations or optimization programs.
• 8+ years of experience in portfolio management, program or project management, product management, enterprise Agile delivery, resource management, financial planning, consulting, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow SPM capabilities, portfolio operating models, governance, investment planning, capacity planning, delivery management, and value realization.
• Experience leading discovery, process redesign, requirements definition, functional design, testing, adoption, and cross-functional delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, with strong executive communication, facilitation, documentation, and consulting skills.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist–Strategic Portfolio Management certifications are preferred; comparable SPM experience may be accepted with willingness to obtain required credentials.

• Experience with Strategic Planning Workspace, Portfolio Planning, Demand Management, Project Workspace, Resource Management Workspace, Enterprise Agile Planning, Collaborative Work Management, financial planning, roadmaps, goals, and SPM analytics.
• Experience with Now Assist, AI-powered capabilities, predictive intelligence, workflow automation, and advanced analytics.
• Credentials such as PfMP, PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Scrum, Prosci, Lean, or Six Sigma.
• Experience supporting proposals, solution demonstrations, estimates, executive presentations, and strategic pursuits.
• Experience across financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, energy, consumer products, or the public sector.
