Senior UX Designer / Scrum Master (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with 4 days per week in-office and 1 day remote. Work in or relocate to Portland, Oregon, or Fort Mill, South Carolina, United States.

Salary: $117,000–$150,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end user experience for the CHEC web application, including complex vehicle electrical configuration workflows.
• Design wireframes, interaction models, and high-fidelity prototypes for logic creation, PTO setup, dash switches, and gauge layouts.
• Establish reusable UX patterns and safety-oriented design standards for a high-complexity, safety-relevant product.
• Partner with React and .NET engineers to support high-quality implementation and design-to-development handoff.
• Conduct usability testing with internal users, dealers, and Truck Equipment Manufacturers.
• Serve as Scrum Master by facilitating Agile ceremonies, refining backlogs with Product Owners, removing impediments, and promoting continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of UX design experience with complex enterprise or technical web applications.
• Strong interaction design and information architecture skills.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile and Scrum teams, with strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with AI-assisted design and research tools such as Claude, Midjourney, and Figma AI features.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States at the time of application, unless they are current hirify.global employees working under an existing U.S. visa.

Nice to have

• Previous Scrum Master or Agile facilitator experience.
• Experience with configuration tools, engineering systems, or safety-relevant products.
• Familiarity with React-based design systems.
• Scrum Master certification such as CSM or equivalent.
• Experience with AI coding assistants and prompt design for user-facing AI features.
