User Experience Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in the United States, with on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices. Available locations include New York, Philadelphia, Princeton, South San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Evanston, Thousand Oaks, San Diego, Atlanta, Bellevue, and Bethesda. Client-facing travel is required as needed.

Salary: $90,000–$103,250 per year.

What you will do

• Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces for AI-powered applications, enterprise workflows, dashboards, and insight-driven products.
• Develop and maintain design systems for generative-AI experiences, including conversational interfaces, recommendations, and agentic task flows.
• Use AI throughout research synthesis, concept generation, prototyping, visual exploration, and design-to-code workflows.
• Translate competitor research, user insights, and business needs into scalable design concepts and launched solutions.
• Participate in rapid design sprints and client-facing design reviews to validate AI-driven experiences.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to ensure usability, accessibility, feasibility, and enterprise standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred backgrounds include Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, design strategy, service design, or cognitive science.
• 1–4+ years of UX design experience, ideally with analytics tools, enterprise products, or AI-enabled experiences.
• Strong foundation in design thinking, interaction design, and modern product design methodologies.
• Experience taking products from 0 to 1, defining ambiguous problems, and driving design through launch.
• Understanding of enterprise software and data ecosystems, including CRM, business intelligence, CMS, and collaboration technologies.
• Work authorization in the United States is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. A strong portfolio showing the complete design process is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with design engineering, design-to-code workflows, AI development tools, front-end collaboration, or hybrid design and product management.
• Familiarity with healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
