Sr Director, Revenue Accounting & Commercial Finance

Location: Fully remote, working from a home office or another suitable remote location with reliable high-speed internet.

Salary: $230,000–$250,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a small Revenue Accounting & Commercial Finance team.
• Own accurate, timely, and controlled revenue month-end close processes in partnership with Accounting.
• Interpret ASC 606 guidance, document accounting conclusions, maintain revenue accrual-rate estimates, and support related controls.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle, Market Access, and Enterprise Analytics to connect payer, reimbursement, billing, collections, operational, and financial data.
• Lead operating planning, long-range planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, variance analysis, and commercial finance initiatives.
• Prepare financial models, business cases, performance analyses, and concise executive recommendations.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in revenue accounting, commercial finance, strategic finance, FP&A, public accounting, or a related role in a public company or similarly rigorous reporting environment.
• Strong expertise applying ASC 606, including technical accounting analysis, revenue estimates, accounting conclusions, and control considerations.
• Public-company experience with financial close, external audits, internal controls, financial reporting, and executive communications.
• Experience leading, developing, or mentoring a small finance or accounting team and partnering with commercial, accounting, FP&A, revenue-cycle, market-access, and executive stakeholders.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, including work with large datasets, data models, reporting infrastructure, dashboards, reconciliations, and financial-close processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field required; CPA, MBA, or another relevant advanced degree preferred.
