Head of FP&A (CPG)

Location: Remote within the United States; headquarters in Austin, Texas

Salary: $165,000–$185,000 annual base salary, plus variable compensation, bonus, and equity

What you will do

• Own DTC financial modeling, including cohort, CAC/LTV, and retention-driven revenue forecasting.
• Manage retail P&L, consumption planning, trade forecasting, and promotional performance analysis.
• Analyze profitability by SKU, channel, and account to guide pricing, trade, and investment decisions.
• Build and maintain weekly and monthly cash flow and liquidity forecasts.
• Lead recurring budget-versus-actual and forecast reviews with Marketing, Retail, and Operations leaders.
• Model new product launches, channel expansion, board and investor reporting, and team development.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of FP&A experience; omni-channel CPG experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience building scalable, repeatable planning processes rather than one-off models.
• Comfort working directly with a modern data warehouse and BI tool.
• Fluency using AI tools to accelerate analysis and modeling.
• Experience mentoring and developing team members.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with Metabase, Looker, Drivepoint, or a similar FP&A or BI platform.
• Ability to write code or scripts beyond SQL to accelerate analysis.
• Exposure to M&A, private-equity-backed diligence, or quality of earnings processes.
