Global Payroll Project Lead

Location: Onsite in Katowice, Poland

Salary: PLN 1–220,000 per year

What you will do

• Translate global reward and payroll priorities into project plans with actions, owners, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Manage global payroll projects from planning through implementation and operational handover.
• Support payroll integration after acquisitions, including process reviews, data migration, testing, vendor transition, and cutover.
• Coordinate payroll vendor implementations, migrations, consolidations, and integrations with HR, Finance, Treasury, benefits, banking, and time-and-attendance systems.
• Deliver payroll process, payment, funding, compliance, and IPO-readiness improvements, including automation and AI initiatives.
• Coordinate stakeholders, auditors, HMRC, authorities, vendors, and subject-matter experts while maintaining project documentation and risk logs.

Requirements

• Experience with global or multi-country payroll projects, transformation, or operations.
• Strong project-management skills and experience creating and executing detailed delivery plans.
• Experience with payroll system implementations, integrations, vendor changes, or acquisitions.
• Good understanding of payroll processes, compliance, controls, and payments.
• Strong stakeholder-management, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and delivery skills.
• Experience supporting IPO readiness or SOX compliance is advantageous.
