Senior Director, Global People Strategic Initiatives (Human Resources)

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; primary location at 806 Excellence Dr.

Annual salary: $130,000–$260,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead global human resources strategic initiatives and improve HR operational performance across business units.
• Research industry trends, legal requirements, benchmarks, and emerging HR practices to inform policies and programs.
• Manage a portfolio of critical HR projects, align initiatives with business strategies, allocate resources, and mitigate delivery risks.
• Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to identify strategic gaps, define data and insight needs, and develop mitigation plans.
• Develop global metrics, tracking tools, and performance reports to monitor program success and guide continuous improvement.
• Build high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, feedback, talent development, inclusion, integrity, and customer-focused leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field and 8 years of experience in human resources, operations, or a relevant area; or 10 years of relevant experience.
• At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, HR programs, strategic initiatives, metrics, and organizational change.
• Ability to collaborate with US and international business units and senior leadership.

• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
• Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
