Area Manager - Floor (Fashion, Import, Jewelry, Regional, Returns, Sam's, HMSC) (Logistics)

Location: Onsite at 26453 S WALTON DR, Elwood, Illinois 60421, United States

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Implement business plans for the assigned logistics area by setting goals, managing staffing and schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor productivity through business reports, analysis, and operational performance reviews.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring training, policy compliance, and accurate operational documentation.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns through consultation and corrective action.
• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate associates and leaders, including supporting hiring, promotions, and training.
• Drive teamwork, integrity, customer-focused decisions, continuous improvement, and adoption of new technologies and skills.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field plus one year of supervisory experience; or bachelor's degree in a related field; or qualifying Walmart Logistics Management or supervisory experience.
• Alternatively, two years of Walmart Logistics experience or two years of supervisory experience may qualify.
• Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments.
• Experience with supervising associates and Walmart Logistics Manager responsibilities is preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and a bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics are preferred.
