What you will do
- Provide emergency and scheduled maintenance for production equipment.
- Repair, troubleshoot, modify, and adjust electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic manufacturing systems.
- Maintain and diagnose AC/DC drives and motors, PLCs, process controllers, stepper and servo motors, control loops, and plant support equipment.
- Install, service, and troubleshoot equipment and control or power wiring up to 480 volts AC.
- Perform calibration verification and use diagnostic instruments and computer-based programs to evaluate equipment problems.
- Assist with removing old equipment and installing new equipment; review and update blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and vendor documentation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher, completed and verified before starting.
- Current, valid driverβs license.
- Ability to work with electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Willingness to be called in after hours when needed.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
- Must pass -selected testing during the selection process.
Nice to have
- Two-year technical degree from an accredited institution.
- Five years of experience in systems maintenance.
- Experience with PLCs and Allen Bradley PLCs or AC/DC drives.
- Experience installing and modifying control and power wiring up to 480 volts AC.
- Ability to read, understand, and update elementary drawings and wiring diagrams.
