Focus on troubleshooting production equipment failures, completing three-phase wiring repairs, conducting plant and utility checks, and maintaining process and facility systems.
Location: New Century, Kansas, United States; onsite in a production plant environment 100% of the time

What you will do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, rebuilds, inspections, and troubleshooting for plant and facility mechanical equipment.
- Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
- Diagnose equipment failures and provide timely mechanical support to production and other departments.
- Conduct plant rounds, water readings, wastewater sampling, boiler and refrigeration checks, and water treatment analysis.
- Complete basic three-phase wiring repairs, including motor replacements, and maintain equipment history files and spare-parts logs.
- Follow site safety, environmental, hazardous-waste, food-safety, ISO 9000, and ISO 14000 requirements.
Requirements
- At least two years of plant equipment, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and general maintenance experience.
- Practical experience in a primary maintenance craft, with the ability to work across electrical, carpentry, welding, plumbing, sheet metal, millwright, and painting tasks.
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and collaborate with engineers, vendors, supervisors, and coworkers.
- Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed in an onsite production environment.
- Ability to use shop machinery and hand tools and maintain accurate work-order, inspection, drawing, and safety documentation.

- Maintenance experience in food-product process manufacturing.
