Assembly Operator (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components from engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Build cable and wire harness assemblies to manufacturing specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment, including crimping, soldering, heat shrinking, and cable routing.
• Inspect completed assemblies, identify defects, and escalate discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and complete production documentation and work-order tracking.
• Support continuous improvement and production goals.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Experience with hand tools and basic measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters.
• Strong attention to detail, process adherence, task prioritization, and workflow management.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable U.S. export-control requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, electronics, or precision manufacturing.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001 certification.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and prior production or assembly experience.
