Manufacturing Engineering Tech (Flex)

hirify.global is hiring for a manufacturing engineering support role within its aerospace manufacturing operation.

What you will do

• Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel and process stakeholders across the plant.
• Enter data into the MRP system and support shop-floor control, material planning, rework, and customer-return processing.
• Implement manufacturing methods using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Assist engineers with engineering change proposals, drawings, tooling, new product development, and part-specific work instructions.
• Support cost reduction, continuous improvement, production capability, scheduling, and staffing analyses.
• Research vendor specifications, arrange equipment and tooling purchases, and verify that purchased products meet production and quality requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree in a related field preferred, or one to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Working knowledge of rigid tube, flexible hose, and metal joining manufacturing processes.
• Ability to move parts accurately and on time throughout the shop floor.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable, regular, and punctual attendance is required.
