Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services - US

Location: Leesville, Louisiana, United States; onsite facility services role

Salary: $23.00–$45.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Supervise associates, assign duties, monitor performance, provide feedback, and support team development.
• Manage landscaping, planting, pruning, pest control, snow and ice removal, and other seasonal exterior maintenance.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain heavy machinery, powered equipment, and vehicles, including required safety checks and documentation.
• Coordinate equipment purchases, budgets, materials, and maintenance activities to improve efficiency and control costs.
• Train associates on company procedures and regulatory requirements while supporting operational changes and collaboration.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in the landscaping or gardening industry.
• Ability to read and speak English as required for commercial motor vehicle operation.
• Ability to complete a DOT physical, obtain medical certification, and maintain a minimum 90-day Medical Examiner’s Certification card.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report.
• No recent disqualifying DUI, DWI, OUI, reckless driving, serious traffic violations, or preventable accidents under the stated requirements.
• Knowledge of landscape management, horticulture, equipment maintenance, safety standards, OSHA, NFPA, DOT, troubleshooting, budgeting, and work-order technology.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in horticulture or a related field.
• Certified nursery or landscape professional credentials.
• Experience as a landscaping or gardening crew leader or supervisor.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and related software.
• State or local licensing where required.
