(USA) Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services - US

Location: Onsite at 323 S Arlington St, Salisbury, North Carolina, United States

Salary: $23.00–$45.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour

What you will do

• Supervise associates by assigning duties, providing feedback, and monitoring performance.
• Train associates on company policies, procedures, OSHA, DOT, and safety requirements.
• Manage landscaping, planting, pruning, pest control, snow removal, and other seasonal exterior services.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain heavy machinery, vehicles, and powered equipment.
• Coordinate equipment purchases, budgets, supplies, and maintenance activities.
• Lead continuous-improvement efforts and resolve facility-related issues.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in the landscaping or gardening industry.
• Leadership experience supervising or developing associates in facility or exterior services.
• Knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, exterior maintenance, equipment operation, budgeting, purchasing, and work-order documentation.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Ability to complete a DOT physical, obtain and maintain a medical certification card, and meet applicable commercial driving standards.
• Ability to read and speak English is required.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree in horticulture or a related area.
• Certified nursery or landscape professional credential.
• Experience as a landscaping or gardening crew leader or supervisor.
• Intermediate skills with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software.
• State or local licensing where required.
