(USA) Technician, Facility Services, Food Equipment 2nd Shift

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States; onsite at the Walmart Supercenter

Salary: $31.00–$61.00 per hour. A $2,000 sign-on bonus may be available at select locations.

What you will do

• Diagnose, repair, install, program, and perform preventive maintenance on specialty food service equipment.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs across a region of approximately 28 Walmart stores.
• Develop maintenance schedules, complete assigned work within required timeframes, and manage work requests in a standard work order system.
• Conduct post-service inspections for cleanliness, equipment condition, and repair needs.
• Train Store Associates weekly on equipment care and cleaning.
• Evaluate asset condition, recommend replacements, and maintain the required parts inventory.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial maintenance service experience, or the stated combination of vocational or technical certification and relevant experience.
• Experience servicing commercial equipment, including programming and installation.
• Related trade license in the city or state where the job is located.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record must meet the specified standards, including no recent DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions and no disqualifying violations or preventable accidents.

Nice to have

• Mechanical maintenance or construction experience involving commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and common office software.
