(USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services

Location: Pinellas Park, Florida, United States; onsite at the Walmart Supercenter

Salary: $19.00–$35.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Manage and prioritize exterior facility service projects while meeting safety and environmental requirements.
• Prepare budgets, approve purchases, verify materials, and support cost-control initiatives.
• Coordinate and evaluate third-party providers, perform quality inspections, and troubleshoot facility issues.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, snow and ice management, equipment operation, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain vehicles and powered equipment, including documentation and scheduled servicing.
• Collaborate with Home Office and facility users to standardize tools, implement upgrades, and resolve concerns.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in the landscaping or gardening industry.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and facility safety practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain heavy machinery, powered equipment, and company vehicles safely.
• Ability to manage budgets, approve purchases, compare costs, and inspect third-party work.
• Problem-solving, communication, customer service, and provider-coaching skills.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree or equivalent in engineering, maintenance, construction management, or a related field.
• Experience managing third-party providers.
• Intermediate proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software.
• State or local licensing where required, including Florida licensing where applicable.
