Manager, Localization (YouTube)

hirify.global Entertainment manages a global portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses, including streaming and YouTube channels.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end localization operations for hirify.global Entertainment's global YouTube content portfolio.
• Coordinate dubbing, subtitling, accessibility assets, translated metadata, titles, graphics, and marketing materials across multiple productions.
• Manage localization schedules, milestones, budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, forecasts, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate technical conforming, versioning, quality control, review, approval, and final delivery of localized media assets.
• Manage localization vendors, agencies, and freelance partners, including bids, rate cards, work orders, SLAs, performance reviews, and escalations.
• Evaluate AI-assisted localization, large language models, and workflow automation to improve efficiency and content quality.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in audiovisual localization, digital media operations, project management, post-production, or digital content production.
• Knowledge of dubbing, subtitling, accessibility, metadata localization, localization quality control, digital video formats, and media delivery workflows.
• Experience managing complex multilingual projects, schedules, budgets, vendor bids, purchase orders, invoicing, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience leading cross-functional work with creative, production, operations, legal, finance, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Experience with project, asset, and collaboration platforms such as Airtable, Box, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or Frame.io.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with global content distribution for streaming, broadcast, social, or digital platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted localization, machine translation, large language models, workflow automation, translation management systems, or CAT tools.
• Experience with media asset management, digital asset management, localization management systems, subtitle authoring, localization QA tools, and media delivery platforms.
• Knowledge of YouTube platform requirements, metadata, publishing workflows, and content policies.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, ATA, GALA, MIIS, Localization Academy, or AI/localization certifications.
