Translations Project Manager (Localization)

Location: Peoria, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Coordination across multiple time zones may be required. Travel of up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $72,360–$108,540 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end translation and localization projects, including scope, schedules, budgets, and risk management.
• Coordinate requirements and timelines between internal business clients, external vendors, and linguists.
• Oversee content quality, consistency, terminology, brand alignment, and accuracy.
• Manage vendor assignments, performance monitoring, and onboarding of new resources.
• Use translation management systems and AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and efficiency.
• Track project costs, timelines, and quality metrics while maintaining glossaries and style guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired.
• 2–3 years of project management experience preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience working with vendors and external partners.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with file types preferred.
