Product Owner - 12 Month FTC (Finance Transformation)

Location: Bristol Harbourside, with hybrid working requiring at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site

Salary: £78,098–£91,880 per year

What you will do

• Define the vision and roadmap for management reporting, analytics, and performance management across Finance.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog, translating business needs into high-value solutions delivered through Agile teams.
• Balance innovation, technical debt, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder priorities.
• Modernise reporting through automation, standardisation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance, Data, Engineering, Architecture, and Change teams while engaging senior stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of solutions that reduce manual effort, improve controls, and provide richer business insight.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Lead, or transformation professional.
• At least 5 years of experience with Finance, management reporting, performance management, financial planning, or related processes.
• Experience delivering through Agile methods, including translating business outcomes into user stories and product features.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and aligning cross-functional Finance and technology teams.
• Strong prioritisation and decision-making skills, using technology and data to solve complex business problems.
• Ability to work in the hybrid arrangement based at the Bristol Harbourside office site.

Nice to have

• Experience with management reporting, FP&A, or Finance transformation.
• Knowledge of Oracle EPM and reporting platforms.
• Experience delivering products within large-scale data and technology change programmes.
