Focus on identifying retrofit and reliability opportunities, conducting failure analysis and root cause investigations, and coordinating commercial execution across the Secunda region.

What you will do
- Develop and execute short-, medium-, and long-term regional sales strategies and opportunity pipelines.
- Build and expand strategic relationships with industrial customers across petrochemical, chemical, energy, and heavy industrial sectors.
- Identify and convert upgrade, retrofit, aftermarket, reliability improvement, and displacement opportunities.
- Grow sales of mechanical seals, Dry Gas Seals, filtration systems, couplings, support systems, and reliability services.
- Support customer reliability initiatives through application reviews, failure analysis, root cause investigations, and technical recommendations.
- Coordinate quotations, contracts, orders, forecasting, pricing, negotiations, and customer support with internal teams.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of technical sales experience within industrial markets.
- Strong understanding of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, mixers, agitators, steam turbines, and auxiliary equipment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical seals, Dry Gas Seals, filtration systems, couplings, bearing protection, and support systems.
- Experience in petrochemical, chemical, refining, mining, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Understanding of maintenance, reliability, and asset management principles.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, relationship management, and opportunity development skills.
