Lead, Production (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $96,000–$120,000 USD annually for roles hired in California

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing technicians through daily coaching, performance reviews, career development, and clear production objectives.
• Assign daily work priorities and create operating procedures for standard work on the manufacturing floor.
• Coordinate electro-mechanical assembly, structural integration, hardware builds, and validation for customer deliveries.
• Train employees, maintain a technician training matrix, and qualify team members for production work.
• Ensure safe use and calibration of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering, continuous improvement, technicians, and leadership to improve production efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma; a technical or engineering degree is beneficial.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety practices, especially for RF testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and people-management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, or otherwise eligible under ITAR requirements; future security clearance may be required.

Nice to have

• Aerospace, defense, or military experience.
• Experience with MES and ERP systems, preferably iON and Oracle.
• Knowledge of production systems, Lean Manufacturing, GD&T, and MRP.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems.
