Quality Engineer - Focus on Supplier Quality (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Assure zero-defect quality for purchased parts.
• Perform incoming inspections and prepare and maintain SAP test plans.
• Verify PPAP documentation for purchased parts.
• Support suppliers with deviation requests and document and control deviation approvals.
• Manage quality concerns and create work instructions, risk assessments, and related instructions.
• Support the supplier quality team with best practices and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Experience in supplier development or quality management systems, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Experience with auditing, project management, and problem solving.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, lean manufacturing, measurement techniques, and quality tools.
• Fluent German and English in writing and speaking.
• MS Office, SAP, and statistical software such as Minitab or QS-Stat; analytical mindset and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel and openness to different cultures.
