Associate Manager / Manager, Project Services - Laboratories (Clinical Research)

Location: 100% remote within the United States, aligned to Pacific Time business hours; role associated with Valencia, California

Salary: $64,200–$173,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Manage clinical trial laboratory projects from award through closeout.
• Lead protocol and budget review, study setup, kickoff meetings, and project and risk management planning.
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, metrics, budgets, trend analysis, scope changes, and change orders.
• Act as the primary contact for sponsors, leading communications, meetings, issue triage, and escalation.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to resolve study obstacles and maintain customer-focused delivery.
• Oversee laboratory instructions and specifications, support proposals and bid defenses, and capture lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• At least 2 years of project management experience, such as study setup, method validation or transfer, or client programs.
• Experience with Lab Trial Management Systems (LTMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong client management, organization, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good command of English and availability to work Pacific Time business hours.
