Senior Software Engineer (Java)

hirify.global is hiring for a software engineering position supporting web applications, APIs, and infrastructure components.

What you will do

• Design, code, and maintain efficient, scalable web applications, APIs, and infrastructure components.
• Develop and support Java/Spring server-side systems and microservices.
• Refactor codebases to improve maintainability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide resolutions.
• Solve complex platform, scalability, and integration problems.
• Collaborate with the team while also working independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of application design and development experience.
• Expert-level Java and Spring Framework knowledge.
• Expertise developing and consuming REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with Spring Boot microservices, Spring Cloud, API development, and API security.
• Experience with MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL, plus Tomcat and production troubleshooting.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests, preferably with JUnit and Mockito.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile Scrum, TDD, and pair programming.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, deployment pipelines, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Full-stack experience with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, or AngularJS.
