Team Leader (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Pretoria, South Africa; onsite factory role

What you will do

• Supervise and lead Operations Assistants in executing daily factory tasks.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance on operational processes and task requirements.
• Ensure adherence to documented procedures, RAIMS policies, plant operating procedures, and required paperwork.
• Maintain discipline, housekeeping, teamwork, work standards, and continual improvement.
• Enforce safety, health, environmental, and PPE requirements, and report accidents, incidents, near misses, and abnormal events.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks assigned by plant and senior operations managers.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in plant operations and machinery used to manufacture highly formulated chemical products.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while delivering high-quality work.
