Production Engineer

What you will do

• Evaluate product concepts with Product Development teams using DFMA and producibility analysis.
• Define assembly, testing, and manufacturing strategies for producible, repeatable, and maintainable products.
• Design production workflows, workstation layouts, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and assembly requirements.
• Establish and maintain manufacturing baselines, operational procedures, and production master data.
• Lead production line setup, readiness reviews, performance validation, commissioning, and handover to Operations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering; an Advanced Diploma is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and assembly environments using Design for Manufacture and Assembly principles.
• Experience with design optimisation, manufacturing technologies, supplier development, and high-precision products.
• Proven experience designing, commissioning, and optimising production lines.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, APQP, PFMEA, MSA, process flows, control plans, and precision assembly, alignment, and testing techniques.
• Experience with ERP systems and SAP Production Data Management.
