What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, lead, and control resources within the assigned mining section.
• Maintain the site-specific Shift Supervisor’s logbook as a legal document.
• Implement safety standards, legislation, procedures, and appropriate operational practices.
• Conduct accident and incident investigations and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure mining activities comply with mine design and the required mining cycle.
• Manage materials, equipment, attendance, payroll matters, discipline, and production plans.

Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Blasting Certificate and Shift Supervisor Certificate.
• Certified Competent A & B.
• At least 5 years of Shift Supervisor experience in a conventional underground mine.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to work at the Dishaba Mine in Thabazimbi, South Africa.
