Senior Manager Field Service (Medical Diagnostics)

Location: Italy, remote from home; national travel up to 50% of the time.

Salary: €87,000–€135,000 gross annual salary, plus a target bonus of 20% of annual base salary.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the national Service and Field Applications organization in Italy.
• Manage and coach Field Service Area Managers and Field Application Managers across all regions.
• Drive customer satisfaction, service quality, base business retention, and sustainable growth in partnership with Commercial and Sales leadership.
• Define and execute the national service strategy, including contractual commitments, operational KPIs, productivity targets, and customer expectations.
• Develop talent, succession planning, leadership capabilities, technical excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in the Italy Leadership Team, leading transformational initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related technical or scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Medical Diagnostics, Healthcare, Medical Devices, or Life Sciences, including significant leadership responsibility in Field Service or Field Applications.
• Experience leading managers and geographically dispersed teams, with a record of improving operational performance, organizational transformation, and talent development.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, business acumen, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English, willingness to travel nationally up to 50% of the time, and a valid driver’s license.
