Software Engineer - Software Delivery (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Improve CI runners, build machinery, and the speed and quality of the build system.
• Work with ArgoCD to shape software delivery to production.
• Improve Kubernetes as a control plane for managing engineering resources and lifecycles.
• Build self-service tooling for component scaffolding, testing frameworks, and continuous delivery.
• Enable production testing with Argo Rollouts and promote feature flags, continuous delivery, and testing in production.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, the operator pattern, and Custom Resources.
• Strong Golang experience across scripting and larger microservice projects, with some knowledge of Go build and packaging.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines from merged pull requests to production environments, commonly Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience building and running Docker images.
• Ability to understand developer pain points and create practical solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience treating an internal developer platform as a product, including user research, platform observability, and product experience improvements.
• Experience with Make, Kustomize, or Helm for developer and Kubernetes workflows.
• Experience integrating software with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with tracing, logging, and metrics export.
