Senior Microsoft Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure)

Location: London, United Kingdom; employees work from the office four days a week with flexibility to work remotely one day a week.

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve the Microsoft cloud platform across Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Own secure, scalable, resilient platform capabilities for business-critical services.
• Implement cloud governance, identity, security, access management, and lifecycle management.
• Develop automation with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Infrastructure as Code, and Microsoft-native cloud services.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical investigations across cloud and hybrid identity environments.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Identity, Architecture, Application Engineering, and Operations teams on modernization initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong experience engineering enterprise Microsoft cloud platforms, including Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong experience with enterprise Active Directory and hybrid identity integration with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Experience designing secure identity and access management solutions and well-governed cloud platforms.
• Advanced PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation experience, plus Infrastructure as Code and modern cloud engineering practices.
• Experience designing and operating highly available, resilient cloud platforms and delivering platform improvements independently.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical ownership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud architecture, platform modernization, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
