Software Engineer - Full Stack (GEOINT)

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

What you will do

• Develop and sustain a large-scale GEOINT enterprise application.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Build solutions for submitting, searching, discovering, and retrieving geospatial intelligence data.
• Participate in an Agile scrum team using DevSecOps practices.
• Analyze system capabilities, resolve complex technical problems, and correct program errors.
• Prepare program development documentation and apply relevant engineering standards and procedures.

Requirements

• Java software development experience, including writing, modifying, and troubleshooting Java code.
• Experience troubleshooting and navigating Linux and/or Windows environments.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and Agile scrum teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Chef, Git, JIRA, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Kafka/Zookeeper, Consul, or CMDB.
• Cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, GitOps, COTS/FOSS integration, or Scaled Agile Framework experience.
• Front-end and back-end technologies, microservices, automated testing, and big data systems.
• Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, MongoDB, or MySQL RDS development.
• AI, machine learning, or Drools rules engine experience.
