Facilities Engineer (Healthcare Manufacturing)

Location: Castlebar, Mayo, with responsibilities across the Castlebar and Swinford manufacturing sites in Ireland

What you will do

• Lead and support facilities, utilities, and infrastructure projects across two manufacturing sites.
• Drive improvements in reliability, efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and external contractors.
• Support facility upgrades, expansions, maintenance programmes, and critical systems improvements.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory, and safety requirements while identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in facilities, project engineering, utilities, or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, water, energy, or other building services systems.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and deliver results.
