Manufacturing Reliability Technician (MedTech)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; onsite

Salary: €55,000–€60,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide frontline support for systemic manufacturing equipment issues and improve equipment reliability, yield, cycle time, and uptime.
• Support the design, installation, optimization, and continuous improvement of lens production processes and equipment.
• Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, work instructions, and training materials.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable troubleshooting methods and equipment solutions.
• Lead cost reduction, quality improvement, and technical enhancement initiatives through the Intrinsic Process Capability program.
• Manage assigned projects, report on risks and outcomes, and support plant strategic initiatives in compliance with EHS and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, or currently working toward one.
• Experience as a Process Technician or in a related manufacturing role.
• Familiarity with equipment validation in an FDA-regulated environment.
• Subject Matter Expert knowledge in two to three core technologies and experience supporting 2GT, 3GT, or 4GT technologies.
• Scientific and data-driven problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong project management, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
