Manufacturing Reliability Technician (MedTech)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; onsite

Salary: €55,000–€60,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the design, installation, and improvement of lens production processes and equipment.
• Resolve systemic manufacturing equipment issues and improve reliability, yield, cycle time, and uptime.
• Edit and publish troubleshooting documentation and training materials for materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines to develop and apply equipment and process troubleshooting methods.
• Lead cost and technical improvements through the Intrinsic Process Capability program.
• Report project activities, support plant initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining environmental, health, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Level 6 diploma or certificate in a technical, mechanical, electrical, or related discipline.
• Experience as a process technician or in a related manufacturing role.
• Familiarity with equipment validation in an FDA-regulated environment.
• Subject matter expertise in two or three core technologies.
• Ability to apply scientific and data-driven problem-solving techniques to improve productivity and yield.
• Strong project management, communication, organizational, independent working, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Level 7 or 8 engineering qualification.
