Facilities Engineer (Biotech)

Location: Raheen, Limerick, Ireland; onsite

Salary: $46,200–$75,400 annually

What you will do

• Provide engineering support, troubleshooting, and subject matter expertise to Facilities Operations, Utilities, and HVAC teams.
• Build and specify cGMP clean and grey utilities, HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and controls.
• Manage small-to-mid-sized projects involving utilities and HVAC equipment and services.
• Conduct troubleshooting and investigations for plant equipment, utility systems, control anomalies, and safety incidents.
• Support equipment design reviews, site acceptance, installation, QA validation documentation, and protocol execution.
• Prepare engineering evaluations and test plans, execute change-control documentation, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• For the Senior Engineer level: at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• For the Engineer level: at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment and system layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, prioritization abilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced regulated environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Raheen, Limerick, Ireland.
