Senior AI Machine Learning Engineer (LLMs/GenAI): Building and deploying production-grade AI applications, agents, and evaluation systems for an AI-powered Invoice-to-Cash platform with an accent on foundation models, RAG, fine-tuning, and financial automation. Focus on designing evaluation pipelines, optimizing latency and cost, and developing reliable multi-step AI agents for complex finance workflows.
Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office for local candidates

What you will do
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade applications using foundation models and large language models.
- Develop evaluation methodologies and pipelines for open-ended AI systems, including AI-as-a-judge approaches.
- Apply prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and fine-tuning to financial use cases.
- Create datasets for model training and fine-tuning and ensure data quality and relevance.
- Build AI agents that automate complex financial workflows and interact with tools and systems.
- Optimize AI application latency and cost while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing and deploying applications with foundation models such as GPT, Claude, or Llama.
- Strong understanding of AI Engineering and practical experience with prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and AI agents.
- Experience designing evaluation pipelines for foundation models and open-ended AI systems.
- Proficiency in Python or C# and experience with libraries or frameworks such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LangGraph, or PyTorch.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with at least 3 days per week in the Krakow office for local candidates.
Nice to have
- Experience with AgenticOS patterns, inference optimization, multimodal models, dataset engineering, and end-to-end Generative AI systems.
- Knowledge of LLMOps, Model Composition techniques, Responsible AI, guardrails, and safety filters.
- Familiarity with financial-domain applications and regulated-industry challenges.
