Senior Group Accountant (Robotics)

hirify.global builds commercially scalable and safe hirify.global robots, including the HMND-01 Alpha platform deployed in real industrial pilots.

What you will do

• Run monthly and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, payroll postings, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare management reporting, group cash flow reporting, statutory accounts, and reporting packs for leadership, investors, lenders, and auditors.
• Operate group consolidation across global entities, including intercompany reconciliation, eliminations, and multi-currency translation.
• Lead technical accounting assessments, accounting papers, policies, and complex transaction analysis across revenue, inventory, R&D, leases, and share-based payments.
• Own inventory and manufacturing cost accounting as the business moves from prototypes into production, including standard costing, cost of sales, and stock provisioning.
• Build internal controls, document processes, support ERP and finance-system integrations, and use AI and workflow automation to improve close and reporting.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified; CIMA considered, with 4+ years of relevant post-qualified or equivalent accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency groups, ideally including US entities.
• Strong knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS, including statutory accounts, technical papers, and end-to-end external audits.
• Hands-on experience with close, consolidation, journals, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and eliminations.
• Experience with inventory and cost accounting, standard costing, or cost centre reporting in manufacturing, physical goods, or high-volume environments.
• Experience building processes, controls, and documentation in a high-growth environment; ERP implementation experience is useful.

• Experience in a venture-backed startup or scale-up, particularly in hardware, robotics, or deep tech.
