TL;DR
Software Engineer - Software Delivery (Kubernetes/Golang): Building an internal developer platform for Aura to improve software delivery with an accent on Kubernetes control planes, CI runners, and continuous delivery tooling. Focus on developing self-service scaffolding and testing tools, integrating ArgoCD and Argo Rollouts, and enabling feature-flagged releases and testing in production.

What you will do
- Improve build speed and quality by developing CI runners and build machinery.
- Work with ArgoCD and shape software delivery to production.
- Improve Kubernetes as a control plane for managing engineering resources through custom resources and lifecycle tooling.
- Build self-service developer tools, including component scaffolding and testing frameworks.
- Develop continuous delivery capabilities with Argo Rollouts for testing in production.
- Promote continuous delivery, feature-flagged releases, and modern software development practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, the operator pattern, and Custom Resources.
- Strong Golang experience across scripting and larger microservice projects, with knowledge of Go build and packaging.
- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines from merged pull requests to production environments, typically Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience building and running Docker images.
- Ability to understand developers’ pain points and design solutions that improve their workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience treating an internal developer platform as a product, including user research, platform observability, and measuring user interaction.
- Experience with Make, Kustomize, or Helm for local and Kubernetes-related build workflows.
- Experience integrating software with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure.
- Knowledge of observability practices such as tracing, logging, and metrics export.
