Junior Platform Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Operate and improve managed, dedicated, and on-premises platform environments.
• Update Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, Argo CD applications, Terraform configurations, and CI/CD workflows.
• Build and improve observability across metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts using OpenTelemetry and Grafana tooling.
• Triage alerts, investigate failing workloads, perform configuration changes, and verify deployments and backups.
• Automate recurring operational work with shell or Python scripts, GitHub Actions workflows, alerts, and runbooks.
• Trace issues across the Python and FastAPI application, workers, RabbitMQ consumers, and stateful data services, while documenting solutions.

Requirements

• Onsite work at the Stockholm HQ is required.
• Comfort working in Linux and understanding processes, permissions, networking, DNS, HTTP, and TLS.
• Experience using Git and Docker, plus the ability to automate small tasks with shell, Python, or another scripting language.
• Methodical troubleshooting: gathering evidence, testing hypotheses, explaining findings, and escalating high-risk issues early.
• Ability to collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineering and Product teams; excellent communication skills are required.
• Recent graduates and candidates with equivalent project, homelab, or early professional experience are welcome.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, k3s, Helm, Argo CD, Terraform, Vault, Tailscale, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, S3-compatible storage, Weaviate, or observability platforms.
• Experience operating infrastructure that is not built primarily on AWS or GCP managed services.
