What you will do

• Design and operate large-scale Kubernetes environments running on self-managed and on-premises infrastructure.
• Develop backend services, automation, and operational tooling using Python to remove operational bottlenecks.
• Drive architectural and infrastructure decisions, including deployment strategies and engineering best practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate the provisioning of physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to enable the company to scale worldwide.
• Mentor team members and contribute to the overall technical strategy and long-term scalability.

Requirements

• Strong experience developing and maintaining large-scale Kubernetes platforms in on-prem environments.
• Several years of experience working with Linux environments and operational infrastructure.
• Advanced backend programming skills in Python for building scalable automation and APIs.
• Experience with AWS and building CI/CD pipelines for Linux environments.
• Ability to understand and design large distributed systems and their integration across software layers.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup from the office in Danderyd, Sweden.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Knowledge of GitOps principles and tools like Argo CD.
• Experience with blue/green deployment strategies.
• Experience in agile coordination or Scrum Master responsibilities.
