Treasury Operations Officer (VIE Contract)

Location: Brussels, Belgium. VIE applicants must be citizens of the European Economic Area, aged 18–28, and cannot apply for an assignment in their own country of citizenship.

What you will do

• Review and optimize Payment Factory rejections and returns processes.
• Support implementation of a Payment Factory customer service ticketing tool, including testing, stakeholder communication, and user support.
• Develop communication channels for Payment Factory best practices and guidance.
• Monitor and execute Payment on Behalf Of payment flows initiated by affiliates.
• Coordinate with bank customer services and follow up on bank inquiries.
• Analyze payment returns and rejects, communicate findings to affiliates, and resolve internal stakeholder tickets.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication is required.
• VIE eligibility: EEA citizenship and age between 18 and 28; the assignment must be outside the applicant’s country of citizenship.
• Strong project mindset with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced transformation environment.
• Strong Excel and Word skills; attention to detail in testing and data migration activities.
• Ability to standardize data processes and build relationships with internal stakeholders and banking partners.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in Treasury Operations or a Finance department.
• Experience in project environments, testing, data migration, or stakeholder coordination.
• SAP knowledge.
• French language skills.
